YouTube Studio m akes it easy to get your podcast on YouTube and YouTube Music. Follow these steps to upload your video podcast, or use our RSS upload tool .
Create a new podcast
- 1 Go to YouTube Studio and click Create → New podcast . You m ay be asked to verify your account before creating a new podcast.

. Enter your podcast details, including:
- Podcast title
- Description
- Visibility (Public or Private)
- Square podcast thu m bnail
- 3 Select Create to save.

Once you’ve created your podcast, add episodes by uploading new or existing videos to your podcast.

In YouTube, a podcast show is a playlist, and podcast episodes are videos in that playlist. Your podcast should only contain full-length episodes, organized in the order that they should be consu m ed. If your podcast has m ultiple seasons, include the m in the sa m e podcast.

Within YouTube Studio, click Create > New podcast .
Enter in the details for your show. Make sure to include the following:
- Podcast title
- Podcast description
- Visibility (Public or Private)
- Square podcast thu m bnail
- Select Create to save
You'll need to set your playlist as a podcast in YouTube Studio.
- Within YouTube Studio, go to the Content tab and select Playlists .
- Hover over the playlist you want to designate as a podcast.
- Click on the Menu and select Set as podcast .
- Review your podcast’s details and add a square thu m bnail i m age. Podcast details include title, description, and who can view your podcast on YouTube.
- Click Yes to confir m your changes.
Podcasts on YouTube are eligible for current and upco m ing podcast features, including:
- Inclusion in the YouTube Music app .
- Your podcast videos will be m ore likely to be discovered or reco m m ended to people who are interested in podcast content.
- Your podcast will have a special "Podcast" badge on the Watch and Playlist page.
- We’ll show a link to your podcast fro m the Watch page, so that people can m ore easily find other episodes.

- Yes! To get started, within YouTube Studio select Create > New podcast
- A dialog will pop up allowing you to either create a podcast, set an existing playlist as a podcast, or sub m it your RSS feed. Select Sub m it RSS feed and you’ll be guided through the upload process.
